How Much Will This Cost?
Often people who must navigate the Social Security Administration have questions regarding the application, the appeals process, and the cost to have a lawyer help them with these steps. At Brod Disability Law, a North Carolina-based firm, we work on a strict contingency basis when it comes to all SSDI and SSI applications and appeals. This means we will only be paid an attorney fee if we are successful in helping you receive benefits. Contact us to schedule a free initial consultation to discuss your situation and find out how we can help you.

It is important to note that our attorney fees are capped by federal law. What we recover in fees cannot exceed a certain amount. We are only paid an attorney fee if we are able to win your case and you are paid benefits. In most cases, we will be paid directly from the government a set amount from the back benefits you are awarded.
We also do all we can to keep case expenses to a minimum. These expenses are paid by clients to the firm, usually at the end of your case when there is an outcome. We do a very thorough job to ensure that we only charge you for what is absolutely needed.
We do not pay for duplicate records. We make sure that doctors and other places from which we need to obtain records conform to the statutes that dictate how much they can charge for their records. We do not charge for stamps, office supplies, or even mileage. This is meant to ensure that clients’ costs are kept to a minimum. Our goal is to help you afford life necessities and not be overwhelmed with legal costs.
